The Sports and Recreation department of the Kroc Center offers sports leagues for all for ages and other sporting opportunities such as Judo, volleyball, soccer, archery, drop-in sports, and more! Our two-court gymnasium is equipped to host sports and programs such as basketball, dodgeball, and pickleball. Our outdoor campus is also equipped with two soccer fields, a softball diamond, a sand volleyball court, and outdoor basketball courts.
The Kroc Center offers the only AYSO soccer program based in the city of Grand Rapids! We have partnered with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) to offer a youth U6 (under 6) soccer league.
This eight-week league operates under AYSO’s 6 distinctive philosophies: everyone plays, open registration (no tryouts or cuts), balanced teams, positive coaching, good sportsmanship, and player development.
Each session will include a 35-minute practice followed by a 25-minute game. Practices and games will take place on Thursday evenings at 6pm. A full schedule will be given out after registration.
Coaches are also needed! Please volunteer via the eAYSO system or contact Jon Shaner at email@example.com.
